Time is flying, and Christmas is next week. But fear not, there is still time to find a Real Maine Christmas tree this weekend! You may have heard that some Christmas tree farms closed early this year, particularly in southern Maine. There are many reasons to select a Maine-grown tree. And the good news is that there are still Christmas trees available. Below is the list of Real Maine members that still had trees in stock as of December 15th, and who expect to be open this weekend, December 18-20. As always, though, be sure to call ahead or check online to verify hours and availability.
If you’re heading out to find a tree this weekend, don’t miss our advice about selecting and caring for your tree. And if a Christmas tree isn’t in your plans, remember that holiday wreaths and greenery are still available at many locations as well. The Maine Christmas Tree Association also offers listings of growers (though many are likely to have sold out for this year).
If you’re a farm or business who wants to be added to this list, email DACFRealMaine@Maine.gov.
