We began farming again in 2010 and now plant over 5 acres of vegetables including an acre of potatoes, an acre of sweet corn, an acre of winter squash/pumpkins, and two acres of mixed vegetables.. We also have raspberries and blueberries. We use very little synthetic fertilizer and try to keep pesticide usage low. We rotate our crops annually and use lots of cover crops and clover for a green manure.
