Help food insecure Mainers by contributing to the Maine Emergency Food Assistance Program Fund this tax season. Check the box on the Schedule CP form of your Maine State Taxes to give $1, $5, $25, or any amount you choose to make a difference to those in need across Maine.
To donate, when filling out your 1040ME tax form, refer to Schedule CP Charitable Contributions and Purchase of Park Passes, which lists charitable contributions you can make. Indicate the amount you’d like to give the Maine Emergency Food Assistance Program; then include that donation amount in the total on the “Charitable Contributions” line on the 1040ME tax form.
Every donation to the fund is appreciated by those in need.
