Fisher Farm has been named as Maine’s 2026 winner of the New England Green Pastures Award.
The multi-generation family dairy was nominated by peers to receive the award, which recognizes an outstanding dairy farm from each New England state each year and recognizes a farm’s business management, crop production, herd performance, environmental practices, and community leadership.
The farm will be honored during at the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, Mass., during The Big E this September. Established in 1947, the New England Green Pastures program is a regional initiative that emphasizes the importance of a viable dairy industry throughout the region.
